Before 2015, when it came to high-end water, there were all imports on the shelves without a Chinese brand, while Nongfu Spring broke this situation with the launch of high-end water in glass bottles. As the annual growth rate of high-end water continues to rise these years, Nongfu Spring sees the opportunity to renew the performance record of the high-end water set. With its entrance to this aisle, the high-end water “war” is going to be more fierce than ever.
In 2008, Nongfu Spring selected Moya Spring of Changbai Mountain as the water source of its high-end water product, which is drawn from the ice and snow that fell on Changbai Mountain 30 to 60 years ago. Relying on this water source, Nongfu Spring launched glass bottled natural mineral water featuring balanced mineral elements and long-term drinking. Water meeting such conditions is typically used to produce the most high-end water, such as natural rock water in Norway, glacial mineral water in Canada and volcanic mineral water in Italy.
This glass bottled water product represents the level of China's manufacturing industry, which is full of cultural and humanistic connotations and bares an understanding for water products. Since 2016, Nongfu Spring high-end water has been a regular attender in various major international conferences, and served as the designated water to host world leaders and guests. At the 2016 G20 Hangzhou Summit, Nongfu Spring high-end water made its debut at the top international conference, and in 2017, Nongfu Spring was selected as the designated water for the Belt and Road Forum.
As for its bottle design, with an aim to fully demonstrate the four seasons scenery and natural ecology of Changbai Mountain, Nongfu Spring spent three years inviting five top design studios from three countries, and comparing 58 drafts from more than 300 designs to work out the final design plan.
Today, Nongfu Spring’s product offerings have completed a full coverage, ranging from small, medium and large-size drinking natural water to a variety of natural mineral water (CNANGBAI SNOW, water for sports, lithium contained and high-end glass bottles), and covering household, sports and other middle and low-end scenarios as well as high-end business conferences.
Nongfu Spring also updates its high-end water product line, which undoubtedly packs a big punch at other enterprises in the high-end water industry, and gradually changes consumers’ understanding to high-end water. Nongfu Spring’s long-term vision and industry layout can not be lightly dismissed. There is a lot to expect in terms of its sales performance and influence in the near future.
